Cookbook Author and Recipe Developer; Braga, Portugal

Jody Eddy is an award-winning cookbook author from the US, who is currently based in Portugal. She is a graduate of NYC’s Institute of Culinary Education and has cooked at Jean-Georges and The Fat Duck. She was the executive editor of Art Culinaire and has written for Saveur, Travel+Leisure, and Food & Wine, among others. She has written James Beard nominated, IACP award-winning cookbooks including Chaat, North: The New Nordic Cuisine of Iceland, and Eat Like A Monk. Her latest book is Elysian Kitchens: Recipes Inspired By the Traditions and Tastes of the World’s Sacred Spaces. It includes locations in Lebanon, Morocco, and Spain, and was featured on The Splendid Table, KCRW, and Saveur, among others. She is a recreational culinary instructor, workshop facilitator, and recipe developer for Forks Over Knives. She is currently working on a book about rewilding initiatives in the UK and recently launched The Storied Table event series inspired by Elysian Kitchens.
