Mya Organisciak ‘24

Mya Organisciak '24 is a student in the master's in culinary arts program at the CIA. She began her culinary career at the age of fourteen and quickly distinguished herself through competitive culinary achievement. As a participant in the ProStart culinary competitions, she earned first place at the state level and placed among the top five nationally for two consecutive years.
Following these early successes, Mya gained experience in fine dining restaurants throughout Northern New Jersey while intentionally pursuing a broad range of roles across the hospitality industry. Her experience includes working as a pastaia, baker, front-of-house table captain, and Interim executive pastry chef at a Five Diamond restaurant, reflecting her commitment to developing a well-rounded understanding of the profession.
Mya earned an associate degree in culinary arts and a bachelor of business administration from the Culinary Institute of America, where she also completed a concentration in Mediterranean Cuisine. During her studies, she completed an externship at Osteria Francescana under the leadership of Massimo Bottura. She later continued her studies in Barcelona, where her passion for Mediterranean cuisine and lifestyle further developed through her experiences abroad.
Mya is currently pursuing a master of professional studies in culinary arts through the Culinary Institute of America, completing the experiential component of the program at The Inn at Little Washington, where she continues to refine her leadership, culinary, and business expertise.
