Gregory Lodato ‘25

Graduate Student—Master's Culinary Arts Program, Culinary Institute of America at Greystone

Gregory Lodato '25 is a student in the master's in culinary arts program at the CIA. Originally from New York, he attended the CIA after high school and spent three years completing a bachelor's degree in food business management, where he took on extracurricular projects, including working in Michelin-starred restaurants, competition cooking, catering, and special events. After CIA, he moved to Napa, California to pursue a master's in culinary arts degree. Through this program, he secured an internship at The French Laundry and has been there for one year. In 2026, Gregory finished second place nationally at the Ment'or Commission Competition in Las Vegas, part of Ment’or's pipeline for identifying and mentoring the next generation of elite American culinary talent. He also assisted Team USA in their gold medal run at the 2026 Bocuse d'Or Americas Competition.
